(he walks over to the phone on the box and dials)

Man: Hello God can you hear me? You said I…

(a voice answers and he drops the phone, falls and crawls away backwards in fright)

God: Hello, thanks for calling. This is God…I hear you, but I cannot respond to you now.

(Man, crawls slowly back to the phone and without picking it up leans over and speaks into it, too scared to touch it)

This play is about a man in jail for check fraud having a conversation with God about money to pay his bills. The other voice changes and he eventually realizes he was talking in his sleep to the warden.
